France Park Camping

No year-long camping. No daily storage. No annual rate.  No reservations--first come, first served basis only.

All rates include two car passes.  No others will be issued.

Senior Citizens(60+) receive 10% discount for long term camping (Paying for month or longer) or $2 per night for overnight camping.  To receive discount, you must notify gate attendant at the time of registration.  NO REFUNDS.

Long term campers (month+) will be assessed a penalty fee of $5 per day for overdue camping fees.

bullet

No additional charges for air conditioning.

bullet

Do not exceed your unit's maximum occupancy.

bullet

Winter camping (water not available on site or in bathroom) is permitted for a maximum of 3 nights.

France Park Rules

All France Park visitors are expected to observe the following rules. These rules are designed to preserve the park facilities while providing an enjoyable recreational experience for all. Thank you for your cooperation.

ABSOLUTELY NO:
Alcohol
Fireworks
Firearms
All-Terrain Vehicles
Golf Carts or "toy" vehicles
Snowmobiles
Saddle horses

ABSOLUTELY NO climbing, fishing, jumping, and/or diving from any rock cliff in the park (Includes waterfalls). Failure to comply will result in being expelled from the park and possible prosecution for trespassing.

Swimming is permitted only when lifeguards are on duty.

bullet

Pets must always be on a leash and attended at all times. Pets are never allowed on the beach or inside restrooms.

bullet

Advertising and/or selling of food or merchandise must have prior approval from park authorities.

bulletUse of gas motors is prohibited on France Park's lakes.
bullet

No motorized vehicles permitted on the trails - including mopeds, four wheelers, &  snowmobiles.

bulletPark speed limit is 10 mph.....speed limit in campground area is 5 mph. Watch for children and pedestrians.
bulletPlease put litter in its place.
bulletFor your protection, lock all valuables in the trunk of your car.
Campground Check In:

Campsites are available to accommodate recreational campers only. Neither the park nor the campground may be occupied by any person for residential purposes. Under no circumstances will any camper be permitted to occupy a campsite for more than 90 continuous days.

bulletCampsite registration requires the following :
1.) A person of at least 18 years of age staying at each site.
2.) Permanent Address and Phone Number.

Camping is permitted in designated camping areas only. 

bullet

Trailers and other vehicles must be parked completely off of the roadway and parked perpendicular to the road when possible.

During your stay in the campground:

Restrooms will be closed as necessary for daily cleaning. Please wait until cleaning is completed before entering a restroom. Please notify park personnel of any problems with restrooms.

bulletDue to the constructed wetland, do not place any of the following materials into toilets, sinks or waste stations: Fats, grease, solvents, oils, paints, chemicals, poisons, disposable diapers, or feminine hygiene products.

No wires or hoses are to be buried or stretched across any roads.

bullet

Long term campers should disconnect electric supply lines and water supply lines when not in use. The park will not be responsible for damage to these supply line when attached.

bullet

Gray water and septic discharge to the ground is strictly prohibited. Failure to contain discharge will result in expulsion from the park.

bullet

Help prevent forest fires. Fires are to be built only in designated areas and never left unattended.

bullet

Do not gather, cut or trim limbs, trees or brush (dead or alive) for firewood. Decaying trees and other vegetation must remain on the ground to rebuild natural humus.  Two cubic foot bundles of firewood are available at the gate house for $5.00.

bullet

Please use waste receptacles for trash and keep dumpster lids closed (visitors are encouraged to use the recycling containers for aluminum).

bullet

Quiet hours from 10 p.m. until 7 a.m. are strictly enforced.

bullet

Bicycles are permitted in the park. Bicycles used after dark must have a working light in use.

Checkout time is 4 p.m. Please leave your campsite in better condition than you found it.
