Camping, fishing, hiking? All this and more! Located 4 miles west of Logansport on US 24 (see map below), Indiana residents have come to know and love the outdoor recreational facility, France Park, for its scenic trails, waterfall, clear swimming lake with picturesque cliffs, quiet fishing areas, and spacious camping facilities. The 7-10 miles of trails are active all year long with hiking, mountain biking, and winter-time cross-country skiing. The swimming lake is an abandoned spring-fed quarry that attracts SCUBA divers from far away. France Park offers the camping enthusiast both primitive and modern camping with bathrooms, showers, water and electrical hook-ups.

Water to campsites and restrooms has now been shut off for the season. Park hours are now 8A-6P (Mon-Fri), 10A-6P (Sat-Sun) starting Nov. 21. The park will be closed December 24, 25, 31 and January 1.
The swimming beach is now closed. Absolutely no swimming without lifeguards on duty.

The Waterfall at France Park gives you an opportunity to take pictures, picnic, and sightsee. A gazebo and covered shelter at the waterfall basin are available for weddings or whatever your imagination can dream up. Enclosed and open shelters throughout the park can be rented for receptions, family gatherings, etc. Click Rates & Rules for prices. Contact the park to schedule your group activity.
Historical Features include the Wabash-Erie Canal bed, an Italian bread-baking oven, and pictures from past Chief Logan's Port of Living History rendezvous. Click the link to view pictures from the event.
